DAS performs full FileNet version upgrades, from legacy 5.2.x and 5.5.x environments to current releases including FileNet Content Manager 5.6.0 and 5.7.0. We manage pre-upgrade health checks, schema migration, Content Platform Engine (CPE) upgrades, IBM Content Navigator (ICN) updates, and other component work in a single coordinated engagement. We test in staging before touching production, and a dedicated project manager runs every engagement.
Migrating to Cloud Pak is more than a platform lift. It's a re-architecture to a containerized, OpenShift-based environment. DAS has performed Cloud Pak for Business Automation migrations for financial services and insurance clients, including FileNet Content Manager. We handle configuration, Custom Resource file setup, staging validation, and go-live cutover.
The key dates to know:
- FileNet 5.5.8: end of fix support was June 30, 2025
- FileNet 5.5.12: supported through at least September 2026
- FileNet 5.6.0: supported through at least September 2027
- FileNet 5.7.0 (released June 2025): supported through at least September 2028
